Lunch with a Scientist
Registration is required. As of Sept. 24, seats are available only in lunches with two scientists, Neal Sikka and Steve Wood. Please speak with the GW staff at the check-in desk on arrival if you are unable to pre-register for a lunch.
Meeting participants will have the opportunity to have lunch with a scientist again in 2018. Held on Sunday, October 14, most lunches will follow the traditional small, informal group format for about 20 participants, however there are also some larger topical lunch groups including Diversifying sources for writing about health and science (Barbara Glickstein, Diana J. Mason) and Estimating the death toll from Puerto Rico’s worst natural disaster (Lynn R. Goldman, Carlos Santos-Burgoa). Lunches will take place in the Marvin Center or at the Milken Institute School of Public Health, and box lunches will be provided.
Room assignments will be announced online and at conference check-in.
