NASW membership meeting + light breakfast

The NASW membership (business) meeting is open to all current NASW members.

After a few short items of business, the majority of the meeting will be dedicated to discussion of the two amendments being voted on.** To facilitate the discussion, those who wish to contribute will be asked to limit their comments to a maximum of 30 seconds. A volunteer will be present to keep time. In the lead up to the meeting, please make use of NASW's online discussion groups for more extensive commentary and discussion.

A light continental breakfast and coffee will be served.

-Welcome and update from incoming president Siri Carpenter
-Presentation of the Diane McGurgan Service Award
-Presentation to outgoing ScienceWriters editor Lynne Friedmann
-Introduction of NASW's new Print and Digital Editor and Social Media Engagement Editor
-Open Discussion of two outstanding amendments
8:15 End (Plenary begins at 8:30 across the street)
