In the competitive world of science writing, what makes a writer stand out among dozens of others? Getting that first assignment can be pretty easy. But making it through the process with a second assignment in hand is another story. A group of seasoned editors will share the qualities and characteristics that make them assign stories to the same writer again and again. They’ll also describe the faux pas that make them say “adieu” after a single go round. A successful science writer will join in, to share her secrets to staying relevant and in-demand.
