Many successful science writers can point to others who influenced them profoundly or changed the trajectory of their careers. Often, this was through a brief encounter or a kind gesture that, to the giver, seemed a small thing.

Our #OneMinuteMentor activity is geared at engineering some of these moments during ScienceWriters2016.

We are inviting seasoned science writers as well as students and other up-and-comers to join our lunch table for a fun activity that will help create connections that could last a lifetime.

It would be great if you can email us in advance at mentor@nasw.org and let us know whether you want to be a #OneMinuteMentor or mentee, or just show up at lunch. See you then!
