So you’ve found a killer science story and you want to write a book. How do you even start? This three-hour workshop will break down the steps for writing a nonfiction book proposal. We’ll cover how to decide if the story is truly book-length, how to figure out if it’s a fresh and saleable idea, what to look for in an agent, book proposal mechanics, and more. If you already have a book idea, be prepared to workshop it in small groups. If you don’t but are simply curious about the process, come anyway — anyone at any stage is welcome.
Requires advance online registration and $30.00 pre-payment.
