Celebration

After a day of exciting science talks, relax with some local bbq and even better company at the ScienceWriters2019 Celebration at the Nittany Lion Inn. 

Hosted by Penn State’s Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences, this event will feature a science trivia competition and live music. A buffet will be provided at no charge and a cash bar will be available.

About the Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences:

Penn State’s Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences were established in 1996 to enhance and facilitate interdisciplinary research and training in the life sciences across Penn State.

The Huck’s research is focused on several areas including infectious disease, genome sciences, plant sciences, and the neurosciences.

The Huck Institutes constitute one of several interdisciplinary research units established and supported by the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research.
