Maggie Koerth-Baker is a freelance science journalist and author. Currently a Nieman-Berkman Fellow at Harvard University, her work has appeared in BoingBoing.net, the New York Times and the New York Times Magazine, Discover magazine, and more. She is the author of Before the Lights Go Out, a book about the electric grid and the future of energy.
