We are fortunate to have multiple high-quality science publications to write for. Indeed, it's quite possible to make a living writing entirely for science outlets — so much so, that it's easy to forget that there are a lot of non-science publications in need of good science writing, too. This workshop will explore the art of writing about science for publications that frequently cover science but do not have dedicated science sections. The panel features editors from Mother Jones and Outside and two successful freelancers who have experience writing for both science and non-science magazines.
