Cristine Russell

Cristine Russell is an award-winning journalist who has written about science, health, and the environment for more than three decades. She is a senior fellow in the Environment and Natural Resources Program at Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. A former Washington Post reporter, Russell is currently a contributing editor to the Columbia Journalism Review (cjr.org) and a correspondent for The Atlantic online (TheAtlantic.com). She is president of the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing and a past president of the National Association of Science Writers. Russell is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and honorary member of Sigma Xi, the scientific research society. She tweets @russellcris.
