Direct communication between scientists and members of the press is an important part of spreading the word on advances in basic science, clinical and education research. How can public information officers at academic and other institutions help equip scientists for this task? What are good approaches to media training for scientists? Each of four speakers will take turns presenting on a topic within the session's theme. Afterward the moderator will ask questions of the panelists then open the floor to a Q&A with the audience.
